I like looking at the roofs in Taiwan and seeing what can be seen.

Here, a flock of pigeons perch. They're probably secret messenger birds.

I haven't always given out great directions. I'm reminded of the time I told a man that Hastings was in the complete opposite direction that it was.

If you keep walking straight, you'll reach it.

Relax, it's a piece of cake

This month three of my co-workers are celebrating their birthdays.

I told some of my students that they should use "my" - not "me" - in those types of situations. I've brought it to their attention before, but it didn't catch on. This time I drew a picture of a pirate on the board and told them that they sounded like a pirate when they spoke that way. Naturally, they started saying "me" even more than before.
