I told some of my students that they should use "my" - not "me" - in those types of situations. I've brought it to their attention before, but it didn't catch on. This time I drew a picture of a pirate on the board and told them that they sounded like a pirate when they spoke that way. Naturally, they started saying "me" even more than before.
