Pencil sharpening
Man, some kids really enjoy sharpening their pencil in class. Numerous times within an hour or two. I actually have to limit the amount of sharpening that is allowed. Some kids bring four pencils to class, and somehow still need to sharpen a pencil before class has ended. I've even seen kids purposely break their pencil lead so that they can sharpen their pencil. Hilarious, irritating - it is many things.

Uh oh, I was one of those kids! I used to love to use the pencil sharpener, but I was far too mousey to it so frequently at school; I satisfied that obsession at home. Who knew it could be dangerous?
Once I pressed a little too hard on a sharpened pencil and the tip snapped off and landed in the inside corner of my eye.
The same exact thing happened to me when I sharpened my pencil once.
