Playing with beetles

Not me. One of my students sometimes brings his pet beetles to school. I think they're Rhino Beetles.

Usually he brings them in a clear plastic container, but yesterday he brought them in his cloth pencil case. I caught him peeking into his pencil case a little too often. I put my ear to the pencil case and I could hear them scurrying around in there.

Later he brought them out to play with. During break he and another boy tossed them down the spiral slide on the playground.


Due to Krosa, I didn't venture outside today. It was good to rest and sleep later though.
