Lately, the way a few of the students have been saying 'journal,' it's as though they have a Brooklyn accent. Quite amusing.
I just found out that I am the carrier of blood type A. According to an article online about blood types and evolution, my descendants are closer to a chimpanzee than to a gorilla.

I wonder if your students are picking up accents from American television and movies?
That makes sense--I can't ever recall seeing you walking on your knuckles, although I thought you are the descendant of a monkey (which is, according to biologists, neither a chimpanzee nor a gorilla).
